TaskScience

Plan in Google Calendar. Track what actually happened.

A simple, honest task timer

TaskScience connects to a Google Calendar you own, lets you start planned or newly created tasks, and writes completed work periods back to that calendar.

Breaks can remain inside a tracked event. Distractions and task-switch gaps are excluded. Repeated tasks keep an explicit identity so their average duration and duration-over-date chart stay meaningful.

Independent family use

Each family member signs into a separate Google account and uses a separately owned calendar. TaskScience version one has no shared family database, advertising service, or analytics service.

Google data use

TaskScience requests permission to list calendars and manage events only on calendars the signed-in person owns. Calendar requests go directly from the phone to Google.
